Let me introduce you to this all-star pain-relieving cast of fruit, roots and vegetables.

First up, celery. This powerhouse vegetable may help support joint comfort and is often used in fresh juices for its light, refreshing flavour. Then comes pineapple: sweet, tropical and packed with bromelain, an enzyme often associated with supporting the body’s natural response to inflammation.

Cucumber brings a cooling effect and keeps the juice fresh and hydrating, while carrots add natural sweetness, colour and their own anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger adds a warming kick, and turmeric brings the golden finish. This powerful root is widely used for its natural anti-inflammatory qualities and gives the juice its deep, earthy wellness edge.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of organic celery
  • 1 English cucumber, peeled if not organic
  • 1 inch piece of ginger root
  • 1.5 inches of turmeric root, or three smaller root sections
  • 3 organic carrots
  • 2 cups of freshly chopped pineapple

Instructions

  1. Wash, prep and chop all of your ingredients.
  2. Process everything through your juicer.
  3. Drink immediately, or store in an airtight container such as a mason jar for no more than 48 hours before drinking.
